How to Share a Spotify Song on Instagram Stories
Table of contents:
Instagram Stories appeared recently but we no longer conceive of life without them. Ephemeral stories that last just long enough to tell everyone about our life and leave them wanting more. In addition, this function is continuously growing so that we all enjoy a complete experience, such as the future possibility of naming someone in the Stories. Who hasn't wanted to share that Spotify song on Instagram Stories and had to resort to the screenshot?
Recommend Spotify music in Instagram Stories
Until now. If you have the version of Spotify 8.4.51.899 or higher on your phone, now you can send the songs and albums you listen to through Instagram Stories. By sharing them, your contacts will know which song you can't keep quiet or that album that has been driving you crazy lately. And not only that, but also a special button will be enabled with which the user will access their Spotify account and be able to listen to it.
In this way, you can become a music recommender for your friends and, who knows, be able to gain a good handful of more followers. As we said before, you must have the version of Spotify 8.4.51.899 or higher. To find out which version of Spotify you have, go to its page in the Play Store and press 'More information' as it appears in the previous screenshot.
When the song is playing, press the three-dot menu that you can see next to the song title and artist. In the drop-down screen that appears, choose the 'Share' option. A new screen will appear in which we can read 'Instagram Stories'. We already have it done. The Instagram application will then open with the added song. Next, we can write on it, paint, apply GIFs or stickers... just like we would do in any normal story.
Also, did you know that you can record an Instagram Stories while listening to a song on Spotify so that it stays in the background? As easy as recording your Story while playing the song.
