Snapchat transforms its skins into games
Renewed or die. These words make even more sense in an application like Snapchat, which has gone from being the queen of adolescents, with that great invention that ephemeral stories meant, to the background since Instagram decided to "include" them in its photography application. A story, between Instagram and Snapchat, of disagreements, in which the latter tries by all means to recover the success it once had. To do this, it often introduces new features that enrich the user experience.
As we can read on the official Snapchat blog, the social network has just introduced Snappables, new masks that are, at the same time, augmented reality games that we can handle by touch, movement of the body and even facial gestures. This video, published by the company, leaves no room for doubt. And yes, it's going to be really weird to see people on the street making faces and blowing kisses, but that's modern life, don't you think?

In the video we can see different games like:
- A kind of Space Invaders in which you drive a spaceship (with your face embedded in it) with your head to destroy all possible enemies
- You are a DJ who has to capture some kitten-shaped coins, also with your head
- Brow Lift
- Blowing Kisses
- Inflate bubble gum balloons trying to make it as big as possible without exploding
His motto makes it clear: 'Get your head in the game' (get your head in the game). Snapchat wants augmented reality to do more than just take funny selfies and then share them in stories. These Snappables are located along with the rest of the skins and lenses, you just have to select one and start playing. Some game skins allow you to challenge other Snapchat users to beat their score or play multiplayer.
