Google Tasks
Table of contents:
To procrastinate. How can a word that is so difficult to pronounce and write define the fact of not carrying out tasks and objectives that require effort? Paradoxes aside, we live surrounded by stimuli on all sides and, sometimes, doing our job and crossing out pending day-to-day things sometimes involves a titanic effort. And we need help on most occasions.
And we continue with the paradoxes, because we are going to offer you a solution to fulfill your tasks... using one of the devices that contributes the most to procrastination: the mobile phone. In the Google Play application store we can find everything, from absurd applications to waste, even more and worse, time or productivity tools that encourage us and encourage us to earn the satisfaction of the duty accomplished.
Meet your goals with Google Tasks
Google wants you to be a productive person so it has launched a new productivity app. It's called 'Google Tasks' and together with its notes application, Google Keep, it can be a great support for all of us who tend to disperse in our work. Because remember that a day has 24 hours and if things have to be done, it's better to get down to work. Google Tasks was presented in society yesterday April 24 and we have already tested it. And we have to tell you that it is a clean, practical and simple application.
At the time of writing this special, the Google Tasks application, curiously, is not in the Play Store application catalog but we can find it on the repository website. It is on that page where we will have to enter and, automatically from it, download it to our mobile. If you already have it installed, we are going to proceed to see carefully what Google Tasks offers us.
As soon as we open the application we have a blank page. In this sheet we are going to add all the pending tasks that we have for the day and these will be automatically added to a list without a name. To add a new task just click on 'Add a new task' Start typing the task and, when you're done, look at the '+' icon . Here you will be able to add details of the goal and set a deadline for the completion of the task.
Although we can put a date on the objective, we will have to put the time by hand, next to the event title. Then we can order the tasks by date and time To do this, once you have the tasks, press the menu button in the lower left corner. In the drop-down window we will choose to order the list by date or by the order that is already established. We can also change the order of the tasks by holding them down and placing them wherever we want on the list. In the drop-down menu window we can also name our list, delete it or discard the tasks already completed.
In the lower right corner we have another menu button: this is where we will find arranged all the to-do lists, and where we can create as many as we wantbefore adding a particular task.We can create to-do lists at home, leisure, movies to watch, books to read, recommendations, shopping list... Anything you can think of. To cross off a task from a list, all you have to do is click on the circle that precedes the name of the task. The completed tasks can be found in the same list under the 'Completed' heading.
