Instagram is a very complete social network, but sometimes we don't get the most out of it. The popular photography application includes very interesting features and functions, that you may not use, and although they are constantly updated, adding improvements and new features, we cannot pass up these five functions.
Switch account before posting
Recently Instagram has launched an option that allows us to switch accounts before posting a photo. This feature is only available on iOS devices. At least for the moment. This new option gets us out of trouble, especially when we had to edit an image, but we didn't want to post it on that account. Until now you had to switch accounts, re-edit and publish correctly. Now, before publishing, the different accounts will appear at the top. You just have to choose the one you want and publish It's that simple.
Save Stories to Featured
This feature has been around for a while on Instagram. It's a very interesting option if we want to save stories for other people to see, or also, so that followers have more interaction on your profile. Featured stories are pinned to the top of your profile, and can be easily edited, grouped, or deleted.
To highlight a Sotire, you will first have to publish it. Afterwards, you will see an icon with the name 'highlight' at the bottom. If we press, we can add the story to a new line of highlights, or to one that we already had previously. Click on the one we want and it will automatically be anchored in our profile.
Create Carousel Posts
We put Instagram Stories aside to focus on posts. For some time now, we can upload several photos in a single publication, to see them, we will only have to slide. Creating a post on Carousel is very simple. First of all, we mustgo to the option to publish a story. In the lower area of the preview you will see an option that says 'select several'. If we press, it will allow us to choose between different photographs. Now, we only have to select the ones we want, click on next and publish as a normal photograph. As simple as that.
Stories with text only
It is another of the most recent features of Instagram. The option of Stories with only Text allows us to choose between different fonts, background colors, letters and animations. The option is in the Sotires section, and we will only have to slide until we see 'Text'. Afterwards, we just have to write and edit it to our liking. Finally, send it to a follower or publish it on your profile, as if it were a Storie.
See previously published stories
This option came with the featured Stories. It allows us to view the stories we have previously published. As you surely know, these disappear 24 hours after being published, but now Instagram saves them to your profile.Of course, only you have access to those Sotires, although you can save them as featured or download them to your gallery.
To see previously published stories, go to your Instagram profile. At the top you will see a kind of clock. There you can check the previously published stories. If you tap on one, you can star it, save it, see who's viewed it, delete it, or share it as a post.
