YouTube for Android now adapts to square and vertical videos
The rejection that many people feel towards vertical videos should be registered as an official phobia. Those same ones who then do not stop uploading and uploading stories (of course, in vertical format), then throw their hands up when they see a video, outside of Instagram, recorded without placing the device horizontally. Some people now have more reason than ever to be alarmed, since YouTube for Android begins to adapt to accommodate landscape videos and, horror music, vertical videos!
As reported by the YouTube Twitter account, the famous video page will automatically adapt all videos that they stay in its bosom, regardless of the way in which they are recorded. We leave you with the tweet in question, explained in a visual and simple way.

If you own an iPhone, this new function may sound like something to you: last year Google already implemented the readjustment of YouTube videos in the operating system of Apple phones and Android was still waiting . Until now. The square and vertical video player that is now appearing on Android will automatically fill the screen with the video you are playing, eliminating the annoying black bars that were appearing until now.
For now, Android users will have to wait a little longer, since the launch of this new version of the YouTube application has not yet been made effective. A new version that will also carry another feature highly requested by users: being able to activate dark mode in order to enjoy a less annoying interface that consumes less battery. You all know that the battery wears out more easily when light colors or, directly, whites appear on the screen.
To see the vertical videos in full screen and the dark mode we will still have to wait a bit. We recommend that you pay attention to these same pages because, when the respective utilities are launched, we will publish a tutorial so that you can get the most out of it.
