The application of applications, the place where we find everything that gives life to our phone, Google Play Store, is renewed. Now, their website also undergoes some changes, although there is no need to be alarmed: they are subtle changes that help with the user experience. As always, you will still be able to download and install apps to your phone from the Android Store web page. If you do not know how to do it, at the end of the article we will give you a small guide. Although, first, let's go with the changes to the Google Play Store on the web.
As we said, the changes are subtle and it's not that Google has decided to renew it completely. They are changes on an aesthetic level, above all, to adjust the page to the latest design guidelines of the big G. These are the novedades that we find on the web from Google Play Store.
List of supported devices
The list of compatible devices for each application is renewed: now you will simply see all the devices you have connected to the Google Play Store and, next to it, a confirmation check or an 'X' if any of them is incompatible with that application.
New image viewer
Now it is much better and more comfortable to see the photos of the applications on your computer. Once we click on one of them, it will be displayed in full screen and we will only have to click on the side arrows.
Also, leavingpressed on the direction arrow in the thumbnails of the images, all of them will be shown continuously as in a carousel: In this way we will be able to see in a more comfortable way everything that the application offers us without having to click each time for a new image to appear.
Changes related to comments
Now all comments made by users within apps have their own separate screen. When we click on 'Read all comments', they will be displayed on the same page. No pop-up window will appear: all the comments of the application will appear in a simple and practical list.
Changes in application data
There is a small change in the metadata of Google Play applications. Now, when we look at how many downloads this or that application has, we do not see a range of figures but a '+ of'. For example, we see how the Monument Valley game has more than a million downloads.
How to install applications from your computer
Installing mobile applications from your computer is very simple. You just have to enter the Google Play Store website and, once inside, search for the application that we want to install. If we have ever had the application we want to get installed, it will appear as 'Installed'. Don't worry, just click on 'Installed' and you can do it again.
Once we have the required application screen, we are going to click on 'Install'. A pop-up window will appear with all the devices that we have connected to the store. We choose the device on which we want said application and accept the download.
Now, pick up your mobile: you will see how it is automatically installed on your phone. You can uninstall it just as you do with other applications once you use it.
