How to disable comments on your photos and Instagram Stories

Disable comments on Instagram photos
The first thing to keep in mind is that you must have the latest version of the application downloaded on your phone. Not so much because the function of disabling comments is recent but for strict security reasons. To do this, go to the Play Store app store and install or update the app.
Once the app is open and registered or connected as its user, we go to our profile page, that screen where we have the photos that we have been uploading throughout the days. There are two ways to disable comments on Instagram: disable comments on old posts or disable comments before you post a new one. Let's go with the first option.
Disable comments on old posts
We are going to choose the photograph in which we want to deactivate the comments. In the photograph, click on the menu of three points that appears next to our username. A pop-up window will be displayed with several sections: look for 'Disable comments'. Any comments on the photo will disappear completely but will reappear if you decide, for whatever reason, to turn them back on.Comments won't be deleted if you turn them off, they just stop appearing until you turn them back on.
