How we like photo montages! It's a pity that many of us are not so skilled in the matter and inserting our face into another body, just to play the joke, is a daunting task. However, we have applications in the Android Play Store that make this job easier for you. Just choose the scene, take a photo and that's it: our face can appear inserted in a giant billboard, appear like God among the clouds illuminated by a headlight or be a true rock star acclaimed by the masses while giving a concert.

Among the most popular Android applications we have come across Photo in Hole, an application that, precisely, what it does is very simple, automatic montages, and with frankly impressive results. And the best of all is that it is completely free, although, yes, we will have to see an advertisement from time to time. From this link in the Android Play Store we can download Photo in Hole, a free application whose installation file weighs about 7 MB.

How does Photo in Hole work?

The app isn't the prettiest we've seen, that's for sure: it has a crude and slightly ugly design, but the results, we'll see later, are really hilarious. The Photo in Hole home screen is made up of three parts: a top icon bar where we can create 3D pictures or take photos from the gallery, a central body with tutorials and a gallery of main scenarios to select from.

Cut and paste: for effects where, for example, the subject appears to be levitating or stepping out of a frame in 3D. We just have to take a photo of someone with the main camera, then cut out their figure with your finger and choose the background in which it will be placed.

3D Frames: Here you can choose frames from which the photographed subject emerges. You just have to point your finger at the silhouette of the motif (you can adjust the thickness of the line in advance, as well as see the result of the cut without having placed it in the frame yet). At the moment there is only one frame, we hope that in successive updates the number will increase.

Gallery: Direct access to your own phone's gallery.Here you will be able to choose a photo that you have previously taken to place it in a background of the app, although through this access the backgrounds and frames are clearly fewer in number. We recommend that you take a new photo to get the most out of the app.

This is where the heart of the matter lies. Choose the background in which you want to appear, there are a lot of different ones and for all tastes.Once the background is chosen and downloaded, the app's camera will open: just point and shoot. The resulting photo will then be embedded in the 'hole' of the original photo: you can scale it up or down, as well as rotate it to fit like a glove .
