It's unusual, but the most secure messaging app on the market is having problems. A few minutes before 3:00 p.m., the service has stopped responding to users. A problem that prevents the sending and delivery of messages, as well as photos and any other content. Will all your users decide to go to WhatsApp?
At the moment none of the official sources of Telegram have commented on the matter. If we access the application, either from the mobile or through the computer, we will find the chats and conversations. So far no problem. However, when sending a message, a error alert from the server is signaled, indicating that something is wrong. In short, it is not possible to send or receive messages. At least for the moment.
Update
The Telegram Twitter account in English has published a couple of messages to alert users of the messaging tool and confirm what happened. As they say, users in Europe, Africa and the Middle East are experiencing problems on Telegram As a consequence, Telegram workers are already at work to try to solve the wrong, of which they reveal absolutely nothing, and ask for patience to solve the problem.
Some of our users in Europe and MENA are currently experiencing connection issues. We've got all hands on deck, working to bring everyone back online. Hang on!

At the moment there is no information about what is the reason for the crash of the servers. Something that leads us to speculate about possible new internal functions or measures that are being introduced into the service, and not so much due to an attack or infrastructure problems, which are not usually common in Telegram.
For now, users can only remain calm and be patient until service is restored. Something they are already working on. From the official Telegram account they promise to report the return of the service as soon as everything is operational, so it is a good idea to follow them on Twitter to keep up to date with the latest news.
Will WhatsApp notice the fall of Telegram?
It is common that, in the face of WhatsApp crashes, much more frequent than Telegram's, users criticize the former and end up installing the one that is reputedly safe. And also make jokes and mockery on social networks. Something that the creator of Telegram himself, Pavel Durov, has boasted about by publishing the increase in downloads and the number of active users when this happened. Will the opposite happen this time?
