Joom and Wish are two of the trending apps for buying cheap items. Its popularity is booming and not only for this reason. Both platforms have a simple and manageable interface, and also have quite peculiar products. Now, if we have to opt for one of them, which is the best? Although the two have many similarities, they do have some significant differences. One of them is related to shipments. Keep reading if you want to know how they spend it on this topic.
How long does shipping take?
When choosing Joom or Wish, you may wonder which of the two will send the order first.Joom ensures that the item takes about 15 days to arrive in ninety percent of cases. Keep in mind that they come from China. However, some products may take longer due to customs procedures. The truth is that the company promises a refund of the amount within 75 days if the customer does not receive the order.
For its part, the delivery time in Wish depends a lot on each store and destination. Most items take 4 to 28 days to arrive from order shipment. Therefore, we are talking about similar times, in which they always give us indicative times. The good thing is that both Wish and Joom allow you to track orders to see their status throughout the process.
When is the order shipped?
One of the questions that many buyers have when they want to buy something on Wish or Joom, is when the order will be sent after the payment is made. Joom gives sellers a week to ship the package and provide a tracking code. If that time has passed and the request is still in the "Confirmed" status, the app recommends contacting support to request a refund. You can do this by clicking the chat button located in the upper right corner.
On Wish, orders usually ship within a day or two of being placed. In any case, this time varies depending on several factors: the destination or whether it is an individual store. As in Joom, Wish gives a few days to make a refund in case the order does not arrive. Specifically, 90 days.
Shipment Tracking
Both Joom and Wish have tracking so we can see the status of the order at all times. In the case of Joom, it is necessary to enter the section "My orders" to select the order you want to track. When you are inside the page, click on "See more" to get the package tracking code. You will see the route it takes from China until it arrives in Spain. The information is very complete, with the day it arrives at the place and center where the order has arrived.
In the Wish mobile app you can see the tracking through the "Order history" section. Here click on the blue “Track Package” button. Next you will see a series of options: Preparing shipment, sent or refunded. Depending on the status of your order, one or the other will be displayed. Another possibility is to click on the tracking number if you want to know where your package is going. If your package is being sent to a country other than the United States, such as Spain, you can paste the tracking number at: http://www.17track.net/en/result/post.shtml. Keep in mind that if you access the tracking page before the package has arrived in your country, it may appear as "not found". The package can only be tracked from the moment it arrives in Spain. This is because the tracking number is valid only for the local parcel service.
Actually, tracking in Joom and Wish is similar, although it is true that Joom makes it a little easier, showing it much more clearly and quick to access. In this sense, it is possible that on occasion you find that in Joom you cannot see the tracking. This is because some sellers use "virtual" tracking codes that only work in China. This does not mean that the order will not arrive at the post office. In any case, if 75 days have passed since you made the purchase and the order has not arrived, do not hesitate to request a refund.
Shipping cost
One of the most notable differences we found between Joom and Wish, is that the former usually does not charge anything for sending a shipment. In Wish the shipping rates will depend a lot on the store, which is the one that establishes the costs. Normally, it is charged according to the article, since they come from different stores and their rates can vary according to the requirements of the packaging or weight. Likewise, the destination where the order goes can also affect the final price. In the Wish mobile app you will be able to see the estimated shipping rate of the product if you scroll down on the product page.
An order that does not arrive
As we say, both Wish and Joom give the customer a number of days to claim a refund. All this in case the shipment has not been made or if it has arrived with a problem. Wish gives 90 days from the order and Joom 75. If you have placed an order on Joom and it does not arrive do not hesitate to enter the "My orders" section and click on "No"on the order page. A new window will then open in which you will have to enter your email address. Once you have done all this, Joom support will have one day to process your request. The refund will be returned to the account you paid from within 14 days once the order status changed to “Refunded”.
You can contact Wish customer service directly on the Order History page. Find your order on this page and tap the blue “Customer Service” button. Then select the topic “Shipping Status”Next you have to describe your problem and tap on “Ask”. Wish support will reply to you within 1-2 days.
