Until now, Instagram had begun to launch these ads only in its private messaging section: Instagram Direct. Here, if you take a screenshot of a photo sent privately, a small notice appears in the chat that reveals who has taken it. Of course does not prevent doing so and that whoever takes the screenshot saves the graphic proof, but at least informs that the action has been carried out, in case You want to take certain precautions with that person.
According to reports from WABetaInfo, the notification is not triggered the first time a capture is taken. As a warning, a message alerts the “capturer” that, the next time he takes a capture, the other person will be alerted of said practice. That is, it is expected that, when Instagram launches this function, it will allow a warning capture before starting to notify that content that should be ephemeral is being captured. Afterwards, each capture will have its notification, and there will be no turning back.
