Something that results in the interactivity of the students to approach concepts and learn in a more fun way. Kahoot is one of those applications that seeks to teach through play. The first thing you need is to create a user account on the platform. To do this, simply access Kahoot and register as a teacher (teacher), or to use it socially (Socially) if that is our intention. After that we can shorten the process by taking advantage of the data from our Google user account or by filling in each gap with information such as first and last name, email address and a password. From this moment we have access to the different corners of the platform, both to enjoy its contents and to create new ones.

To generate a new Kahoot you only have to access the website specially created for its development.The interface of the platform is in English, so it is necessary to have some notions of this language to create these tests, games and knowledge exams, although the process is simple and guided. The good thing is that the contents, such as the questions and answers, can be in perfect Spanish. Therefore, there is complete creative freedom even if the tool is limited.
Just click on the New K! and choose in a new Kahoot style, being able to choose between four: Quiz, with the trivial format of questions and answers; Jumble, which proposes to order the answers; Discussion, with which to propose alternatives and debate the results; and Survey, which simply poses different answers to get the class's opinion on certain questions. All these modes coincide in the question system with answers limited by time, but with somewhat different approaches.
After selecting any of these formats it is necessary to give the Kahoot a title, as well as a series of labels or hashtags with which to categorize it . It can be mathematics, history, language or any of the topics covered in the quiz. In addition, you must specify the language in which your contents will be thanks to the drop-down. And also the public to which it is directed. It is important that we pay attention to the Visible to dropdown, as this will make the questionnaire public or private. Finally we can add a cover image. From here we can press the button in the upper right corner and go on to create the questionnaire.
The questions are written in Spanish in the upper box of the screen, and may be a direct or indirect question.Or even a more open approach. The next step is to write the answers in the lower boxes of the screen. Depending on the type of Kahoot chosen, it is possible to complete two or up to four answers. The order also depends on whether the Jumble mode has been chosen, so you have to be aware of these issues to ensure that the player, user or student experience is correct.
The creation process can be extended as long as we want, creating the desired number of questions until completing the test or quiz. Once the process is finished, all that remains is to click on the Save button. From this moment we can review, play and share it freely (as long as it has been marked as visible to the public).
