Storyboard and Selfissimo
Table of contents:
Google continues to focus on expanding its application ecosystem. In this case, dedicated to photography. Google Photos is its biggest application, as well as the Google camera, present in many Android devices. But Google had something in mind and has finally revealed it. These are two experimental photography applications that provide a much more artistic touch to our images, and a new way of interacting with the photos and videos taken by us. Here's everything you need to know about Storyboard and Selfissimo
Selfissimo, as its name suggests, is an application focused on selfies and ”˜portrait mode”™. Its function is very simple, automatically takes photos in black and white, so that you can see them completely later. The interface, as expected, is very, very simple. It only asks us to pose and the app will start taking shots automatically. If we want to end the session, we only have to touch the screen, thus we will also give access to the gallery. Of course, later we can save the images in our gallery, or share them.
The application can now be downloaded on Google Play. It has more than a thousand downloads, and a rating of 4.5 out of 5. It is available for both Android and iOS.
Storyboard is Google's other experimental app. With the same essence as Selfissimo, but to be used in a different way. With Storyboard we can select one of our videos from the gallery, and the application will automatically divide it and take different shots in different finishes,as if it were from a comic If you want to change the look, you can pull from the top down. In case you want to save it, simply click on the save button.
This app is only available on Google Play. It is now available for download.
Google doesn't forget about iOS with Scrubbies
Google has decided to also keep two photography applications on iOS, Selfissimo and Scrubbies. The latter is an app for videos that allows us to create different effects, such as moving the video from one side to the other to achieve a movement effect.
The truth is that all these applications work very well. We know that little by little, Google will continue to improve them and add new features, we will see how they progress in future updates.
