How to return a product on Joom

Joom is, together with Wish and Aliexpress, one of the most successful purchase of generic products via mobile platforms, for its low prices and its ease of shopping. Now, what happens when we want to make a return?
We are going to explain step by step the options that the app offers you, so that you know exactly what your rights are in case there is a problem with the purchase. The first thing to know is that all Joom products have a 90-day guarantee that covers damage or that the product does not match the product's photograph in the app.
Steps to make the return
There may be several reasons for requesting a refund on Joom. On the one hand, we may find ourselves with a situation in which the product does not match the description, or is defective, in this case we must return the product and wait for the return of money. The other option is that the product does not arrive, so we will also have the right to receive a refund of the amount spent.
Defective product or does not match what was advertised
When we receive a product and verify that it has a defect, or that it does not match the product that has been announced to us, we can request a return. This must always be done within the 90-day guarantee that Joom offers us.
The fastest way is always by checking the button in the upper right corner, shaped like a comic bubbleDoing so will open a direct conversation with Joom representatives. We must explain the problem to them, including the order number and an email address in order to take the conversation to another level.
Another option is to go to our profile, clicking the icon on the right of the bottom bar, and in the new menu click on My ordersSelecting the order for which we want to make a return, the option Question about the order will appear. By marking it, we will contact the app, this time in a thread that takes into account the specific order number.
Product not shipped
The shipping dates of the products in Joom are variable, depending on the exact store that makes the shipment. Even so, the average is 14-30 days to receive the order. However, if 75 days pass and the product is not in our house, we can request a refund of the full amount.
To do so, we have two ways of action: on the one hand, we can click on the icon at the top right to start a chat with customer service. The other option is to go to the My orders menu and click on Questions about the order, to select among the options the one that refers to the product not shipped.
Once we contact Joom, the refund process will begin. This process will be carried out within a maximum of 14 days (normally it takes 2 or 3 days).
Cancellations
If what happens is that we have changed our mind and want to make a cancellation, we have up to 8 hours from the moment of purchase to carry out this operation. The steps to follow are the following: first, we must go to our profile, clicking on the icon in the lower right corner.
We will then access a menu where we will find, in the first instance, the option My orders. We click it, and then we will enter a list with the orders that we have pending or past. Among the pending items, we just have to click on the one we want to cancel, and then mark the option Cancel order, which is located at the bottom of the page.
Once we have made the cancellation, we can receive our money back in a maximum of 14 days, the same as in the other cases returns.
