Instagram Stories will have some of the WhatsApp functions soon
Table of contents:
Instagram Stories is a feature used by many users. This feature presented a few months ago has not stopped receiving news. It is noted that the Stories is the most pampered of Instgaram, and it seems that this is going to receive features of the WhatsApp states. As we have been able to read in a Tweet published by WaBetainfo, an account specialized in information on WhatsApp, the social network specialized in photography will support GIFS from the GIPHY portal.COM, as well as Stickers and the last visit in the Instagram Direct.
Hmm.. seems Instagram will support GIFs from GIPHY (for Stories), Stickers and Last seen in Direct like WhatsApp (and other…).WhatsApp has Status (Stories) and Stickers like Instagram.WhatsApp and Instagram have very similar features.

Yes, Instagram now allows you to upload GIFs to your Stories. They become a kind of video or Boomerang and all users can play it. But it seems that the support for GIFs will go a step further. In other words, we will not only be able to publish GIFs, but we could also have a large library of these animated images, thanks to the GIPHY portal. This already happens in other applications and services, such as Twitter, or the Google keyboard. It is still early to know if the GIFs library will be on the keyboard, or a small category will be added, with a search engine and daily images.
Stickers and last visit on Instagram
On the other hand, Instagram already includes Stickers in its stories, so we don't really know what the meaning is. Maybe Instagram will share the Stickers with WhatsApp, or similar Stickers will be added in both applications. Lastly, we must highlight the last time on Instagram Direct. Until now, it only showed that we had seen it, but not the last connection. We will see how these WhatsApp features are adapted to Instagram, and if they finally come true. WhatsApp and Instagram statuses are almost the same feature, and while we doubt Mark Zuckerberg would put them together, we don't see anything wrong with their comparing features.
On the other hand, we still miss some almost essential features in Instagram Stories. As well as in the application itself.
