On October 15, TVE premiered a new nocturnal debate magazine presented by Carlos Herrera. To give a modern touch to the program, whose format has been appearing on TV for a long, long time, they have made use of new technologies. And although a viewer consultation application is not the height of modernity, it is appreciated that TVE, at least, is open to modern times in a matter of feedback with its viewers. The problem is that nothing has gone well for them and How do you see it?, the new app for the Carlos Herrera program, is being riddled with negative reviews.You can try it yourself, for free, in the Android app store.

What about 'How do you see it', the new app of the Carlos Herrera program?

It's nothing new: coming up with a talk show app to ask people. Thus, while you watch the program, you can contribute your grain of sand. For this to happen, the application, of course, must work well. And on any device. We are not talking about a game that requires a terminal with a large processor. We are talking about an application that should be used by any neighbor's son. And it is not, precisely, what is translated from the use of this app, taking into account the opinions that its users are expressing.

« It doesn't work, it fails and I think it's disrespectful «, « It's impressive how the application that gives its name (...) to a television program on a channel (...) doesn't work (... ) in any of the 3 devices that I have », »Give so much to this and in the end it doesn't work, that doesn't work on my mobile»… These are some of the comments that users have left in the reviews section of the app .So until the application has, right now, a rating of one and a half stars. The last update is from October 13th and there are messages reporting bugs at a later date. So we can only wait for RTVE to release a new version that fixes the compatibility and connection problems.

Our experience with the app »How do you see it?»

We have downloaded the application on a OnePlus 3T terminal and, unlike the vast majority of users, it has worked really well for us. At first, the app asks you about your age, gender and place of origin. We can also put a photo and a username. There are three ways to enter the app: through Facebook, Twitter or 'Without User'. The problem reported by users is that the app won't let them log in unless they connect through their Facebook or Twitter account.We were able to enter with a completely new account.

Once inside we can see a welcome message from Carlos Herrera and two galleries: questions to be answered and survey results. The questions can go into a multitude of topics such as: How many times do you go to the dentist? What causes you the most repulsion? What do you think is the most universal Spanish song? holidays?. Topics, likewise, that will be touched on in future programs. During the development of the program, the presenter will publish the results of the surveys in the app, in order to provide more data on the general opinion on the subject.

Let's hope that in the next updates of the application all the problems that the application is suffering will be resolved. It is not acceptable that a public service such as Spanish television has a service, apparently, so deficient.
