How to send a Wallapop product through the Post Office

Many Wallapop users are reluctant to ship products to users in other cities, not feeling confident that the transaction will go through correctly and that both parties will comply. To alleviate this, Wallapop has just announced an alliance with the postal service Correos, seeking to make the process of sending a user's second-hand products easier and faster to another.
In addition, thanks to this new system, it is guaranteed that payment is not made until the shipment has been made, adding a plus security at the service for the buyer.We are going to see how to send a product from Wallapop and to activate the Postal service.
Secure payment
The entire process is carried out through Wallapay, Wallapop's secure payment system. To activate this tool we have to go to the start menu and check Transactions. Once there we will have the possibility to select the credit card (if we are going to pay) or the checking account (if we are going to receive payments).
Once we have this option activated, when we talk to a seller via chat, we will have a button enabled on the left, blue in color, with the symbol of a package It is the secure payment button that allows you to make the shipment. By marking it, we will go to a menu where the product, the user, the amount to pay and the means (our card) are specified.Shipping & Tracking
We will be given the option to select whether the shipment is made by hand or through the post office. If the latter is chosen, we must fill out a small form with our shipping information: address, town and postal code. In addition, we are given the option to include a phone number so we can track the shipment This tracking consists of free SMS messages that we receive as the package leaves zooming in.
Once we have the data filled in, we click on the blue button in the lower corner, and the payment process begins. From that moment, the seller has a maximum of 5 days to deliver the package to the Post Office. Once the package is shipped, Correos guarantees that the buyer will have his product within 48 hours anywhere in Spain.
Until the package has reached our hands, the payment will not be released, which guarantees a safe process for both parties. If it happens that the seller never sends the product, Wallapop will return the money to the user.
Costs
For information purposes, we would like to inform you that the use of Wallapay with shipments by Post implies two costs, which are borne by the buyer. On the one hand are the shipping costs, which are fixed, at 3 euros.
Then there are Wallapop's management expenses, with which they are fed to continue providing service. These expenses are variable, they start at 2.5 euros for products that cost less than 30 euros. From 30 euros, the management cost will be 10% of the price of the product Thus, if it costs 50 euros, it will be 5 euros. If it costs 400 euros, 40 euros, etc.
Availability
The Wallapop service with Correos is still limited to products weighing a maximum of 4 kilos. Regarding geographic availability, the service is active for the entire peninsula, but they hope to expand it soon to the Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
