Or the other way around: you need to find a point in the video while you're watching it, so you speed it up. However, the speed that the functionality reaches is limited. Do not believe in a dizzying speed, such as to 'rewind' an hour-long video in seconds. This option, although limited in this case, can be very useful. That is why we are going to tell you how to modify the playback speed. A tutorial that is valid for both Android and iOS systems.

When you're playing a video on the YouTube mobile app, tap once on it. You will see how a series of options is superimposed on the screen. Among them, we have the typical three-dot menu. Click on it.

At this moment, you will see at the bottom a white box with a series of options. For example, modify the quality of the video (if we want FullHD, or, if we have a slow connection, reduce the quality so that it doesn't cut off), activate the sub titles or, and this is what interests us, change the playback speed. Press this option and another screen will open in which we can see different numbers. These numbers correspond to the speed at which we can put the video in question.

As we told you, on this screen you will find different speeds with which you can play, fast-forwarding or rewinding the video that at that moment you you find watching We start in 'Normal': everything that is down, advances the video. The options you see at the top, back it up.

To return to normal speed, all we have to do is click on 'Normal' and return to the video, clicking on it, on the White screen.
