Instagram Stories can soon also be shared on Facebook

As we read on the Mashable website, you will soon be able to share your Instagram Stories directly on Facebook. This has been seen in a tweet shared by the social media expert Matt Navarra and which we reproduce below. Is it perhaps, as they claim on the site, a desperate attempt by Zuckerberg to consolidate ephemeral stories on Facebook?

Facebook wants you to use Stories
There was a time when Mark Zuckerberg seemed obsessed with stories, those little clips that were deleted after 24 hours and played brief excerpts from our lives. The first time you saw them was, in all likelihood, on Snapchat. He tried to buy the service, but was met with refusal from the owners. The solution: copy them into your brand new photography app, Instagram. It is seen that he took a liking to it and decided to take them to WhatsApp, in a move not without controversy. And since he didn't have enough, he also moved them to Facebook and Facebook Messenger. And while the play has worked for him in the first two, the same cannot be said of Facebook.
Probably, this movement could have been easily predicted. The main application of the Zuckerberg emporium is Facebook where, precisely, the stories have been an absolute failure. You just have to look at our account and see a succession of gray circles. Could this be the best way for us to finally start using stories on Facebook? In addition, we must take into account that this would be the first functionality that appears on Instagram and that exclusively involves Facebook.
It is not known when this new function of sharing Instagram Stories on Facebook will become a reality. Or how they will look on our wall Will they appear as circles, substituting our own ones that we can make with the application? Or simply as a new user post? If it were to be implemented, would the Stories function itself disappear on Facebook?
