The Amazon Prime Video app

Finally, all users of Amazon's Prime Video option can get the application of its streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video. Previously, if you wanted to download the Amazon Prime Video app, you had to find its APK on Amazon's official website and install it. As we do, currently, with the applications that are updated and are not yet available to everyone. There are pages that serve as a repository or storage for this type of APK files. And they should not be confused with pirate markets: here the apps that are obtained are free and approved by Google's own system.

And if Amazon has been forced to remove its application from its own store, it is due to Android's own policy. Play Store prohibits the existence of applications that act as their own store. And this is what happened with Amazon Prime, which could only be downloaded through the Amazon Underground app which, by the way, can no longer be found on Play Store.

The Amazon Prime Video application is presented, thus, with the following characteristics:

• Download series and movies on your own mobile device for when you're only with a data connection. It works in a similar way to what we already know in other apps like Netflix.
• Each series and film contains a direct access to the IMDB page in order to have complete information on the technical and artistic data sheet, as well as the note that the users themselves give to the series or film in question .

• Auto Play Function: Play a new episode directly as soon as the previous one has finished.

At the moment, nothing is known about sending Amazon Prime series and movies to Chromecast. So, if you don't have a smart TV where you can download the official app, you'll have to settle for connecting the PC to the TV via HDMI or sending the full screen of the mobile. A method, this one, not very functional, as it tends to cause delays and jerks on the screen.

We hope that in the next updates the guys from Amazon will correct this error and give us an application with which we are fully satisfied.
