How to Post Portrait or Landscape Photos in the Same Group on Instagram
Table of contents:
We have juicy news on Instagram. Now, when we want to share more than one photograph, we can choose in which format we want them to be published. Now, when we upload a single photograph, we already have that option. Either we upload it to the application in a square format, thus cropping the image to suit the portrait mode, or we upload it landscape and full. When we upload an album, all the photos must be in the same square format. Until now, in which we can choose the arrangement of each one of them, separately.
Landscape or portrait, you choose the format in Instagram albums
This is how we have been able to read, directly, in the official account of the photography social network. Below we attach the tweet itself, which can be read:
"Starting today (August 29, 2017) you can choose landscape or portrait format when sharing multiple photos and videos in one post"

It was in February of this same year when Instagram decided that we could choose how to upload the photos, or in landscape or portrait mode. Prior to that date, we had to use third-party applications that gave us that possibility. The user asked to be able to upload the photographs as they were conceived and not as the application required. So Instagram, making good use of common sense, appropriated a feature that should always be there, even if some felt it was betraying their own aesthetic.
Albums on Instagram cannot exceed 10 photos at a time. And, from now on, as we have told you, you can upload the photos in the format you want, within the album itself. Instagram does not stop updating to make the experience of sharing photos with our loved ones something unique and special.
