How Statuses work in WhatsApp Web
At the moment, what can be done through the browser is to see the states that have been created. That is, we can only see what has been done through the mobile. But don't use the webcam to create new statusesIf you already have this update, you should see a circle at the top left of the screen right next to the option to create a new chat.
If you press this icon, you will go to a black screen with a list of the WhatsApp States of your contacts. Remember that these states are photos or videos that are shared for 24 hours and then disappear ( although they can be recovered).
If you have recently created a WhatsApp Status, on the right you will see a message with “Look at your updates”, the icon of the last status and views it has received. All you have to do is click on any of the icons to start seeing the States on WhatsApp Web.
As on mobile, opening a status will activate continuous playback mode by default. At any time you can go faster between photos or videos. To do this, you have to press the arrows that are located on the two side ends of the screen. We also have the option to write a reply to any status This reply is sent as a direct message in the conversation with that contact. In addition to the text, you can include emoticons with the smiley icon on the left side of the box.
