Google has announced the revamp of the "Editors' Choice" section. If before it only showed its selection of applications on the one hand and the selection of games on the other, mixing all the genres, from now on this will no longer be the case. Now Google Play will create selections by genres and themes In this way, through different sections we will see small portions of the best applications and games of different themes.

Google Play editors will reveal picks of the top five apps on different themes. For example: video conferencing applications, the best arcade games, or language learning applications. We will also find a selection of the Android Excellence Awards. Apparently, Google Play will continually update this section introducing new collections. Of course, many of them will be temporary, since they will deal with seasonal issues. Likewise, Google Play will give an explanation in each app of why you like each of the selected games and apps.

New Editors' Choice

At the moment, the new "Editors' Choice" is only available in some countries. South Korea, Australia, Great Britain, Japan, the United States or Canada are the lucky ones.However, in the coming weeks it will reach more territories. Here is a selection of what Google Play has recently prepared.
