Everything indicates that starting next week, coinciding with the date of July 5th, Niantic will launch a “shiny” Pikachu in Pokémon GO . Like the variocor Magikarp, it will be very difficult to capture.
The special Pikachu will sparkle and shine when it appears, though it's likely that a very lucky few will catch it.
Changes and news in Pokémon GO for the summer
After an initial rush that seemed unstoppable, many Pokémon GO fans began to lose interest in the game. In recent months, Niantic has set out to rescue it with many new features.
