Google Photos automates its function to share albums with family and friends
Table of contents:
- Share photos automatically with your loved ones
- Share all the photos in your library with your loved ones
One of Google's main intentions is to make our lives easier. And we are continuously carrying out activities that are not only our concern. When we go to a party, when we are with friends, when we take a trip with our partner... Our camera has gone from being our mobile phone and, with it, we insist on capturing any moment we spend alone or, well, accompanied. Hundreds of photos in which you share moments with family and friends. Photos which you can then share or not... And everything will depend on what you remember. How many times have you been asked to share your photos and, in the end, the request has been forgotten?
That is why Google, as we said before, wants to make your life easier, so that sharing photos through Google Photos, with friends and family, is simple and automatic. Yes, now it is possible to send albums, share all your photos or some of them with the contacts you want. But you have to do the process yourself. You have to enter the menu, choose the option and write, by hand, the desired contacts. And then select the photos you want to share. But now all this will be automated. And Google will detect who is in the photos so that person automatically receives them.
Share photos automatically with your loved ones
During this week, Google will progressively launch this new function that will make our ties even closer.A new function that Google explains to you, in a brief way, in the following video. Pay attention because, without a doubt, this new feature will make the Google Photos app an essential part of our day to day.
From now on, we will have four icons at the bottom of the application, instead of the usual 3: 'Wizard', 'Photos', 'Albums' and 'Share' The latter, of course, is the one that interests us. If we enter this option, we will find the following:
The artificial intelligence of Google Photos will select those photos that it thinks you should share, suggesting, in turn, as many photos in which the same person appears. You can see it more easily in the video above: if you mark a photo in which your girlfriend appears, many others will appear at the bottom. All you have to do is mark them and the app will automatically send them to the contact to which the photos belong.
In this same column you will see everything related to your sharing activity: what has been shared with you and what you have shared. A whole section in which to have all the material well organized that is visible to others. If family and friends who were with you when you took the photo use the app, they will be notified to add the photos to a common album. You will also receive another notification that new photos have been added to the common album.
Share all the photos in your library with your loved ones
Now, you can also share all the photos from your library, or some selected ones, with your preferred contacts, through a Google Photos function that you will find in its menu.Swipe to the right and you can see it in the option Share your collection Simply press the option and you can give a user access to all your photos or some of them, as photos grouped by faces or from a specific day.
With these two new ways of sharing with Google Photos, the experience of using the app will go up a lot. And if you haven't used it yet, it can be a good way to take the plunge.
