How to use Snapchat filters and masks on Instagram

Instagram, one of the most popular social networks for photography, introduced stories a few months ago. Yeah, that thing that looks so much like Snapchat. To use Snapchat skins on Instagram it is essential to have an account on both social networks. The trick is to save a video or image that we have captured on Snapchat, and upload it to Instagram stories. It is very simple. The first thing we have to do is go to Snapchat, choose our filter or mask and take a screenshot or video.

Once done, we save it in memories. To do this, we use the download button at the bottom left. Now we can close the preview, and we go to the memories folder by sliding from bottom to top. We select our photo and click where it says, ”˜Edit and send”™. In the upper part we will see a strip of dark color, with three lines in the right area.If we press, three options will appear. Click on save to the reel and we can close the application.

Now it's time for Instagram to work. To post the image with the Snapchat filter in your story, we have to go to the camera icon, which is at the top. The Instagram camera interface will open, and we will select the photo saved in the reel. We just have to swipe up, and we will be shown all the images from our reel, from the last 24 hours. Select the one that includes the filter or mask and we publish as if it were a story.

You can also publish an image with Instagram filters, go to the camera icon to enter the stories, select the filter or mask you want, take the photo and save it in the gallery with the button ”˜Save”™ at the bottom left. Now, go to the section of posting an image on your Instagram wall, and select the photo you have taken.
