Would you like to learn to cook more dishes and innovate in the kitchen? We propose five applications that you can download on your mobile to learn to cook. All you have to do is start!
1. Spanish recipes
This simple application allows us to learn to cook some of the most typical dishes of Spain. The recipes are divided into categories (Tapas and sauces, Bread and pastries, Fish and shellfish, Salads, etc.).
In addition to these sections, we can also filter the recipes by preparation difficulty (low, medium or high).
On the main or start screen we find the Featured Recipes, which vary according to the season. In addition, the app displays notifications on the smartphone when it's time to try new typical dishes.
The application also has a favorites tab. Depending on the recipes you save in this section, the “Discover” tab will be activated, which will show new dishes and offer suggestions based on your tastes.
You can download the Spanish Recipes app for Android from Google Play.
2. Vegamecum, for vegan recipes
Vegamecum is one of the best applications to encourage you to cook vegan recipes. In addition, it has sections to facilitate the shopping process and meal planning.
On the main screen you can scroll down to see different dishes, with their name and photo. Aesthetically it is a very attractive app and it makes you want to try all the recipes…
The top bar of the app allows you to use the search tool and filter the recipes according to categories.
When we choose a recipe to cook, we can add the necessary ingredients to the shopping list. This is one of the sections available through the Vegamecum menu, and it will make your visit to the supermarket much easier.
Recipes can be marked as favourites, and even can be scheduled to appear on our calendar (also available in the menu the app).
Vegamecum is available for iOS and Android.
3. Hatcook, new recipes every day
Hatcook is an app with an extensive catalog of recipes that allows you to filter content and find inspiration on a daily basis.
Any user can create their own dishes and share them so that the catalog of available recipes grows.
We can filter the dishes by categories (rice, salads, meat, etc.), and there is also a collections section so you can find what you are looking for at all times: recipes for athletes, vegetarian recipes, food Caribbean, lactose-free dishes, etc.
You can install Hatcook on your Android or iOS.
4. Free cooking recipes
With this application we can configure a list of personalized recipes based on our tastes. Based on the categories we selected at the beginning, Free Cooking Recipes will show new suggestions every day.
Aesthetically and structurally, the app is very similar to that of Spanish recipes, but it also adds several useful functions, such as the shopping list or filters for allergies and preferences (dishes for celiacs, vegetarian dishes, lactose-free dishes, etc.).
You can download the app for Android from the Google Play store, or for iOS from the App Store.
5. Cookpad, an Instagram of recipes
This application works with a structure similar to that of a social network. In addition to browsing trends to see what other users share, you can also create your own dishes to share the recipe with your friends and followers.
A very curious function of Cookpad is the search by location, to find out the latest recipes created in your area.
Cookpad is available for iOS and Android.
