H&M
Table of contents:
The world of buying clothes online through apps has challenged the large physical stores of the 21st century. For this reason, stores like Zara, H&M or Mango have had to get their act together and offer mobile applications that keep up with demand. We decided to compare these three official applications to see what their main features are.
H&M
The H&M app is designed in the form of a scroll, and as we go down we can see all kinds of promotions and offers, as well as the different sections for men, women, children and the home. That main part gives us a good time to explore, since we can access a huge catalog of products It even links us to H&M Magazine, an internal digital publication where the brand's products are linked to articles on the trends of each season and interviews with fashion models.
Buying
Whenever we are browsing the app looking at products, we will have the possibility to save (by marking the heart symbol) the products that interest usThen, by going to the My favorites section (in the lower menu), we can confirm if we want to buy them by adding them to the shopping bag.
To buy it, we just have to go to the purchase icon and finish the operation. Keep in mind that, to do so, you must be previously registered Also, in the start menu of the app there are codes that are used to get discounts on products. By using them, you can save a bit.
H&M Club
From the H&M app we can become members of the H&M Club. With this system cnwe will be able to accumulate points with each purchase, which can then be exchanged for offers, discounts and invitations to events. Each euro spent is an accumulated point.
Making shopping easy
In addition to the purchase itself, the app allows us to locate products through the article number or the barcode. It also allows us to locate the nearest stores through the search engine.
Another interesting section is Customer Service, where they answer questions about shipments, guarantees, and payments. The current means of payment in the app are: credit card, PayPal and gift card Guarantee, 14 days, as in the store. All these options can be found in the "More" section of the lower menu.
ZARA
The Zara app has a design similar to that of H&M that we have just discussed. At the top, a search engine and the ability to read barcodes to access specific products Below, direct access to the main sections of the store, in addition to the latest collections available.
At the bottom of the screen we also have a menu. The section we enter by default is Products, with the catalog available for viewing, whether or not we are registeredWe can also take a look at the store locator without being subscribed.
Buying
To enter the Wallet section we do have to create an account. The Zara Wallet allows us to register credit cards, gift cards, speeding up the purchase process Once we want a product, we select it and buy it automatically, without steps intermediate.
Also we can get an electronic ticket, in case we want to make a return in store. In addition, we are given the option of accessing the history of our purchases.
My account
Finally, in the My account option we can update our profile data, confirm the shipping addresses and keep track of the orders placed A direct link to your customer service is also offered, both by mail and by phone.
MANGO
The start menu of the Mango app once again shows us a white interface with a scroll of images that take us to different sections of the store. We also have a superior search engine to use the codes. The main difference with the other two apps is that Mango opts for a Google-style side tab, instead of the bottom menu integrated into the interface.
In this side menu we can select if we want the sections for men, women, or children to be shown, simplifying the scroll and avoiding having to go through sections in vain with your finger We can also access Violeta, Mango's magazine, where we are informed about new products in the catalogue, promotions and photo sessions.
Buying
Navigation through the app, viewing garments, is quite agile. We always have the option to buy directly or include in our Whislist for another time. LThe list with favorites can be consulted in the side tab.
When we decide to buy, we can choose free standard shipping, 1-4 days, or choose faster methods that cost money. Then we are allowed to make the payment by credit card, Mango card, PayPal or promotional code.
My account
In the My account section we can track shipments or manage the ways to make returns The main way is through card of credit. By registering ours in this section, we can get a faster and easier refund.
Conclusions
In all three cases, they are quite complete and similar apps. Even so, there are things to comment on each one. Zara differs from the others by automating the payment and shipping system, something that speeds up the purchase. H&M, for its part, has the most dynamic interface and offers the points system. Finally, the Mango app is correct, but it is the most standard of the three.
