Niantic, the creators of Pokémon GO, continue to fight back against cheating players. Those who use services, bots or software that are responsible for falsifying their location, tracking Pokémon or creating spawn maps for them. All this with the sole interest of making the experience of this game easier and more direct. Well, it seems that Niantic have come up with a formula to punish these players in a more or less subtle way.
Apparently, different sources indicate a new warning and game behavior for those who use some of these methods. First of all, Pokémon GO is alerting many of them with a message that reports the detection of anomalies in the game In said message it is stated that methods have been used unauthorized to play Pokémon GO, or that the player may have had their account stolen. However, what surprises and angers players is what happens next.
Silent Bans
Followed by this warning, according to different sources, comes Niantic's veto. And it does not consist in the blocking of the player's account. What happens is that, from then on, the player only encounters common Pokémon Rattatas, Pidgeys, Geodudes, and other well-known Pokémon. No option for rare and more special Pokémon to visit the player.
Some affected players have even shown it with some experiments. They have visited common places where less common Pokémon appeared and have verified the fact. While they only found Rattatas, other players discovered the true and varied fauna of that place. The difference was having used some of the tools to falsify the game experience and use it to your advantage
