Instagram continues to provide news to its Stories, those short videos that have hooked all its users. Now, through their official blog, they have announced that we can search them by place or by tags.
Before, the Instagram explorer recommended us photos and videos based on the likes of our friends, on the followers and even on our location. Right now, Instagram Stories can be searched for a place near us or by hashtags
Location Stories and Hashtag Stories, this is the official name of the two new features that have been added. We can thus find publications by a specific topic or place by searching for it from the browser.
From Instagram they explain that we will have a new option in the explorer. In the rings of the stories, we will have one in which they will appear to us in a place close to usBut we can also search for these Stories in other locations.
If we want to publish one with the location, we will have to use the location sticker. In addition, we can filter by places to search for it.
In the event that it still does not appear and we do have the application updated, we must activate on our mobile the Location services, otherwise we will not have the ring with the stories by location close to us.
Instagram Stories also with tags
The tags in the Stories will also allow us to filter on topics that interest us. In addition, all those tags will be added in a page full of stories about that particular tag.
As for the locations, they are available in the update 10.22of Instagram that we can already find on Android and iOS. We will have to wait a bit longer for the labels, which will arrive in the coming weeks.
