Well, there is no need to delete the publication and lose it forever. Instagram is now introducing a new feature to archive previously posted photos.
With this new feature, any user, whether on Android or iPhone, can archive photos from their profile. That is, to make them disappear from the showcase that is the account of each user, but without deleting it Without deleting the photo, nor the Likes and comments. Quite a convenience so as not to lose information, even if one regrets having published it.
Archive Photos
The process is very simple. Just go to the profile and click on the photo or video that you want to hide from public opinion. Here, in the menu of the three points in the upper right corner, the option Archive We press it and we make that content disappear completely from the profile. No sign.
Of course it won't have completely disappeared.It will only be filed in a separate section within the profile. A private place just for us. This place is located in the clock icon of the profile. A new section that is located at the top right of the profile screen. When accessing it we come across all those contents that have been archived. As if it were the profile itself, it is possible to revisit and re-enjoy them.
To return these contents to the public profile we just have to repeat the process. On this occasion, instead of clicking on Archive in the three-point menu, you have to select the option Show on profile.
