This is how the new Facebook section with highlights works
Table of contents:
One of the latest innovations we have on Facebook was the interests section. A rocket-shaped icon invited you to discover the most relevant posts and articles of the moment. A kind of viral column in which to have organized everything that mattered most today. Even without being fully implemented, a section has just appeared, unexpectedly, on our walls, and quite related to that one. Although, in this case, the information is completely personal.
The weekly summary arrives on Facebook
The weekly summary with the highlights of the week is a private publication that only the interested party will be able to see. It is made up of several sections that we proceed to detail below.
- The title 'Highlights of the week' welcomes you to the section, next to your profile photo, adorned with a beautiful design of stars. You are clearly warned that this publication is private.
- Then the last post you wrote on Facebook along with the comments and reactions it has accumulated.
- Section of 'Recently Responded Friends'This is where the bulk of the section is located. Three items that specify how many reactions we have had, how many friends have responded to us and how many comments they have left us in the last week.
- Finally, Facebook provides us with a shortcut to be able to write a new publication and, thus, continue to earn 'likes' and reactions in our publications.
This screen will appear, unexpectedly, on your wall. Its usefulness, for the moment, escapes us, since the figures that they show cannot be compared with any scale, so we do not know if our account is popular or not. A new tool with which to monetize our Facebook account? At the moment, we can see, out of curiosity, what is the weekly activity that we have had on Facebook.
