WhatsApp now allows you to set chats to always have them at hand

With it it was possible to anchor up to three conversations at the top of the chat screen. Well, after tests and corrections, WhatsApp has activated this new feature for all users.

The latest WhatsApp update brings with it the possibility of pinning conversations. A feature available on Android. All you have to do is go to the Google Play Store and download this latest version of WhatsApp.

From here it only remains to open the application and, on the chat screen, make a long press. This allows you to bookmark one or more conversations. Of course, WhatsApp sets a limit of three anchored conversations Once selected, just click on the new thumbtack icon at the top. And that's it. Chats are pinned.

Higher, faster

The key to this feature is the location of the conversations. These pinned chats always stay at the top of the chat screen, whether or not they have messages to read. In this way they take center stage over the rest of the conversations. They are always at hand to access them once you are in WhatsApp.

Pinned chats are marked with the pushpin icon.The rest of the conversations are displayed as normal under these. As before, unpinned chats continue to moveon the screen based on the recency of received messages. However, they never mix or unmark pinned chats. A very useful hierarchy to quickly access conversations with those special people.

To unpin a chat you just have to repeat the action: a long press to select the chat, and a click on the new thumbtack icon . And ready.
