Google Maps now allows you to edit streets and roads from your mobile

Google Maps has been updated for iOS and Android platforms with new features. One of the most important is the possibility of editing places, streets and roads from the mobile itself. Users will now see a new "Edit Map" function,that will allow you to modify certain details of the app. Thus, if we see that the name of a street is misspelled or a road is badly indicated, we will only have to use this new option.

Google Maps now allows you to edit streets and roads from your mobile phone. You only have to download the new version of the application and enter into «Send comments, Edit map». When you want to correct the incorrect information of roads and streets you will only have to to click on them. You will see that they are automatically marked in blue. Once you've selected them, you'll be able to indicate what the problem is, as well as add your own comments. This will allow Google to review and fix the error as quickly as possible.

Correct place information

The editing power of this new feature isn't just limited to streets and highways. You can also select a specific site, such as a restaurant, church, establishment, or any type of business. You can correct the information that is incorrectly entered,such as the address, telephone number or name.Another quick way to edit sites is to open their listing in Google Maps and enter "Suggest a change".

In the event that a site is missing that you see is not there, you can enter it yourself from "Send comments, Add a site"Or, entering the map and clicking on the marker tab «Add a site». If a place is missing, you can add it from there. You only have to fill in all the information of the site you want to add. In a short time it will appear on Google Maps.
