Trigraphy
Today we bring you an application for lovers of photo retouching. Trigraphy allows us to apply certain filters to our photos to turn them into authentic works of art The result is something very similar to what the well-known Prisma application offers. However, Trigraphy offers the possibility of mixing these filters, thus opening up a range of possibilities. An application that, at the moment, is only available for iPhone and iPad. Let's see how Trigraphy works.
If we have already tired of Prisma filters, we can try the Trigraphy application. The idea is basically the same, but with this new app we will have new filters available. In addition, this app allows us to combine filters, thus creating much more original images The effects will be applied in layers and we can mix them to achieve different effects.
The use of the application is very simple. As soon as we execute it, we will see a split screen that shows two different parts. In the upper part we have some works made by other users In the lower part we have access to our photo reel.
If we want to extend any of the areas, we just have to slide our finger up or down. At the top left we have three horizontal lines. If we click on it, a small configuration menu appears.
One of the most interesting options that we can activate is that Trigraphy exports the resulting photographs in a resolution of up to 4,096 x 4,096 pixels.
But let's get down to business. What we want to do is apply filters to our own photos. To do this, the first thing will be to select the photo with which we want to work. Once selected, the filter menu will appear at the bottom. The first ones we see are the artistic generative effects If we click on any of them, it will be applied to the photo.
But we must also look at the dice icon that appears in each of the filters. If we press it, it will generate a different shape from the initial one. We can press it as many times as we want.
But the most interesting thing is not the number of filters available, which are not many. The best thing about this app is the ability to create layers. If you look at the screen, in the lower left part we have a button that looks like two leaves and a plus sign. If we press it, the application will create another layer that we can put on top of the one we had already created. That is, we can combine several effects in the same photograph
In addition to these more "exaggerated" effects, the Trigraphy app also includes some more common ones. We have the typical filters that we find in any photography application, such as “black and white”. But also other more original ones, such as light effects, canvas, skin and some more
Lastly, Trigraphy also allows us to modify the contrast and saturation. The combination of all these possibilities will allow us to create very interesting works of art.
Once our work is finished, we can save it on the reel, share it or send it to print. And the thing is that the app offers the possibility of ordering t-shirts and other objects with the result of our work This is one of the company's sources of income.
As we mentioned, the application is only available for iOS. As usual, Trigraphy is free to download, but if we want to add new effects to our catalog we will have to pay for them.
