Pokémon GO is not the only mobile game based on another franchise for video consoles and with its own Anime series. For several years Yo-kai Watch has been calling attention to both sides of the Atlantic. A game of monsters where friendship has a great value, and that now has a fun mobile game. It's YO-KAI Watch Wibble Wobble. And it's coming in the form of puzzles and free to the Google Play Store and App Store.
Wib Wob
The puzzle type game is based on the Wib Wob. A kind of candies or balls based on the different beings that populate this fantastic universe. Thanks to them it is possible to attack other monsters that we meet throughout the adventure All this by combining their powers through a curious game board. Each with special moves and unique options.
Although it draws from the puzzle genre seen in Candy Crush Saga, YO-KAI Watch Wibble Wobble gives a twist to this idea. There is no board, but a bag where these wib wobs move freely. Something that makes the strategies practically impossible to carry out. Or, at least, very changeable. Just use one finger to link all elements of the same type together into one much larger one.
Fights and more fights
The puzzle game is divided into levels. In each of them you have to face a yo-kai or several. So until you overcome the adventure, which will grow with future updates. As in puzzle games, after completing each stage, the player is awarded up to 3 stars based on their combat achievements. In addition, the yo-kai who participate in our team gain experience and grow in level and combat characteristics
As in Pokémon, the key to this game is to make friends with the defeated beings. To do this it is possible to give them special items won after each battle or defeat them with mastery. In this way it is possible to update our equipment to make it more powerful and forceful.
In short, a simple puzzle game in terms of mechanics that is a breath of fresh air. It's fun, it's different and it's full of characters adored by the new generations. All this free but with in-app purchases.
