Ingred is an application that you can install on your Android device to get all the information about dangerous or suspicious ingredients.
At Ingred you will find a wide catalog of ingredients, together with a “traffic light system” to indicate their danger: green color for the products non-hazardous, orange for intermediates, red for items you should avoid in your diet.
Once you have downloaded Ingred from the Google Play store, you can start browsing the ingredients you want. There are three ways to query for unknown ingredients:
Searching by name
In the search bar you can begin to type the name of the ingredient until the result appears. As we have already mentioned, the name will be displayed with an icon of a certain color.
When you click on that ingredient, a screen opens with a detailed description. Here you will be able to find out if it is a dangerous ingredient, where it is common to find it, and if it has side effects.
Searching by number
