How to use Telegram voice calls

How to make a call on Telegram

First, if you want to try it and you don't have the Telegram app installed yet, you'll need to go to the Android app store and download it for free. Once you confirm your phone number and include contacts, you can make your first call.

Open the Telegram application and choose the contact you want to make a call to You already know that you don't have to add anyone with your phone number, so privacy on Telegram is guaranteed. Once you have located who you want to make a call to, press the three-point menu that you find located in the upper right part of the chat.

In this menu, if you have the call option available in Telegram, it should appear in the first position »Call». Press the option and, automatically, it will begin to make the call. If your contact does not yet have this function, a sign will appear warning you that the connection has been failed. Your friend will need to update the app for him or her to have this new feature available as well.

Calls are fully encrypted and ensure good sound quality, since they are produced through a P2P network. In addition, according to the application, data consumption will be lower than in other similar applications thanks to this system.
