You can now make live videos on Facebook from Google Chrome
Table of contents:
Facebook already gives you the possibility of making any live video without having to use your mobile phone. The vast majority of the time, we make these live videos on the street, at an event that we want to report on. There are also occasions when you want to do it at home, with your laptop. Come on, Facebook live videos should be able to be done from the browser. No sooner said than done.
Today we woke up to the surprise of this announcement on our Facebook: it is now possible to make live videos, directly, from the browser you use, as long as it is Google Chrome or Firefox. If the comment has not appeared yet, do not despair. You can even, for yourself, investigate if, by chance, it has appeared directly to you, without warning.
How to broadcast live on Facebook through Google Chrome
To broadcast live on Facebook from Google Chrome you must do the following: go to your status and click on the three dots, next to »I am sitting/Activity». Here you can see a section that says “Live video”. Click on this button and it will send you to the following screen, where you can name your live video. You will be ready for your live broadcast on Facebook.
If you get an error, for example, that the camera cannot be found, look at the address bar. If a crossed out camera icon appears, click on it and allow the connection with the camera. This is simply a security warning offered by the Chrome browser so that any other app does not connect to your camera, with the consequent attack on privacy.
Once the video is finished you can include it on your wall or permanently delete it from your life. This decision is in your hand.
