How to take multiple screenshots on Android
Table of contents:
We all already know how to take screenshots on our Android phone. It is a trick as simple as holding down the volume button (-) and, at the same time, the power button. If we do it right, in an instant, we will have the capture of what we are seeing at that moment. But of course, making multiple captures of a website is more complicated. If we want to capture all the content, we must scroll and make different captures. And then, of course, there is the matter of uniting them so that it remains in a single photograph.
Android, at the moment, does not allow multiple screenshots, so we have to go to third-party applications. Fortunately, there are apps of all kinds. To take screenshots, there is nothing better than the Longshot application. And, on top of that, free. What can we find in this application?
This is how Longshot takes multiple screenshots
Once we free download and install Longshot, we will proceed to open it. At first it seems very cumbersome, since it has many options, but it is more intuitive than it seems. Let's go step by step to see what Longshot offers us.
The application is divided into three main sections. Each one of them, directed to the screenshot and assembly of the same. One by one, these are:
Capture Screen
If we activate this option, we will automatically capture everything that appears on the screen of our device. We can choose between 'Auto capture' or 'Enable scroll helper'. We recommend that you use the second option, much more comfortable and easier to use. Basically, the difference between the two is that, in auto capture, the captures are made by themselves as you scroll. The captures, thus, do not remain so fine.
If you choose 'Enable scroll helper', a floating menu will appear that will help you make the screenshots properly. Click on the shutter icon and it will launch you to the home screen next to the menu. Choose the screen you want to capture. In our case, we are going to capture our blog tuexpertoapps. We open Chrome and write the address.
Longshot Auto Capture ModeThen, we must click on 'Capture' once. It will take the first screenshot. Then, press 'Scroll' and it will go down to be able to make the second capture. There are times when this fails: we can do it manually. Once we have all the captures made, click on 'Done'. A new screen will appear with all the captures that have been made. You can see them in the gallery or delete the ones that don't work for you.
Select Images
Different sections of the Longshot applicationIf you want to join them, you must go to another section of the app: 'Select Images'. Choose on this screen all the ones you want to unite in a single image. Then, we press the green box that appears. Once on the screen, we look at the bottom. We can see two sections: Configure and Join. In the first you can configure how to make the collage of the captures. If you want them to join as it is by default, simply click 'Join'. On the next screen, you'll be able to adjust the images to fit perfectly together.
Capture Web Page
You can also capture using the 'Capture Web Page' option. If we click here, we must put the URL to which the web belongs. If we don't know it, from the browser, we can copy it and then paste it right here. On this screen, we mark a start and end point and the app does the rest. With the buttons below we will adjust the beginning and end of the desired capture.
