Remember where you parked with Google Maps
Table of contents:
You can do everything on Google Maps: from organizing a transatlantic flight to not getting lost on the streets of your city. Now, a new functionality is added, to help all the clueless people who fill the cities. Now, we will be able to remember where you have parked with Google Maps. Yes, say goodbye to going round and round the streets.
Do you remember where I parked? Because I do not
Leave the co-driver alone. It is personal task to remember where you have left the car.And more if you are in a city that is not yours, with a rented car. There are no times to lose the car. So Maps has set to work to solve the lives of all those who, one day, parked their car, and suffered hours and hours driving around without remembering where they were.
Now, when you leave the car, all you have to do is the following. Let the machines do for you what you can't (or don't want to) do.
- Get out of the car. Open the Google Maps application and click on the compass to position yourself exactly where you have parked.
- Click on the blue dot. A pop-up screen will open with a series of options, among which is 'Save parking'. If you press, you will automatically have saved the site.
- If you click on the parking place, you can write any note about it that will help you locate it even better. In addition, you can add your own photos that you take. This is very useful if you have parked inside an underground car park.
- You can also modify the parking spot right here, in case your compass is not well calibrated.
So now you know: from now on you will no longer have an excuse to remember where you parked. Of course, now you will have to remember to place it in the application. But that depends on you.
