With the arrival of spring the allergy season begins for many. Thanks to the Pollen Control application, you can keep a detailed record of your symptoms and identify the types of pollen that pose the greatest risk each day.
In addition, using the data from the application, you can generate a small report to show your doctor. In this way, the specialist will be able to know your history of symptoms and have greater control over the medication you may need.
The perfect mobile application to control pollen allergies
The Pollen Control mobile application has several sections and functions to help you control your allergy and better understand the pollen levels in your cityover time.
You can download it for Android from the Google Play store, or for iOS from the Apple app store.
Once the application is installed, you will have to follow a simple registration process. With your personal data entered, you will finally see what the application looks like, with all its sections.
Daily Tracking and History
The “Daily Tracking” section allows you to keep a record of your symptoms to generate a report. You can choose between three options: “No symptoms”, “Moderate allergy” or “Severe allergy”.
In the lower section you can add the medication you have taken during the day, and even select several if you have had to combine several products .
All this information is stored in the "History" section, which is in the form of a calendar. This way you can easily scroll through dates in the current month or previous months and quickly see which days you had the most severe reactions.
From this section you can also download all your history at any time.
Report
If your doctor or pharmacist also uses Pollen Control, they can give you a personalized code to enter into the app. In this way, the specialist will be able to consult all the information on your history, your symptoms and the medication you have taken.
Pollens
In this Pollen Control tab you can check the concentration levels of the pollens that cause the most allergies,as well as check which ones are a higher risk level at that time.
From the menu in the upper right corner of the application you can configure which pollens give you allergies so that they appear in the list, as well as set alerts and notifications when there are high risk levels.
The most interesting thing about this function is that you can use the application to compare the pollen counts of each day with the types of symptoms. If you've never had allergy tests before, Pollen Control is a good tool to intuit which types of pollen cause you a reaction and which don't, until you can confirm or rule them out with a specialist doctor.
