Midas, the car maintenance company, has just released Midas Connect, its latest app. Available for iOS and Android, this app aims to be the perfect tool for monitoring our car.
Using Midas Connect we will be able to know all kinds of data about our car and its surroundings. We will be able to receive alerts related to maintenance and revisions, notifications for incidents and nearby services. We can also send an alert in case of theft, or keep track if it is another person who drives our car.The application is compatible with more than 85% of car models manufactured after 2002

Geolocation
One of the great attractions of this app is that it gives us the possibility of having our car under control.We can know your location and receive warnings if the car moves from a security perimeter We can also know if we have the lights off and the doors closed.
Family control
40% of drivers under the age of 25 do not have their own car, so they tend to use the family car. Midas Connect has taken this information into account to develop the Car Control system. This system allows parents to know the speed at which the car is going, and thus be calm (or not).
If the child or relative considers thatis not fit to drive , she can send a notice with a single click. This notice will report the exact location of the car, in case someone needs to be sent to pick it up.
Real-time information
The Midas Connect app allows us to access certain statistical data of interest when we are on the road. For example, the hours we have spent behind the wheel or the kilometers traveled on the trip We will also have the peace of mind knowing that the app will notify us when periodic reviews are approaching or the ITV. Finally, we can also access our history in Midas workshops, as well as invoices.
Operation and price
To achieve this level of monitoring we must download the Midas Connect app and link it with a device that is installed inside the vehicle. This installation can be carried out in more than 90% of Spanish Midas workshops. The cost of installing the device is 60 euros in a single payment.
The Midas center of our choice will take care of synchronizing the device and the app, so that the user only has to start using it. This service will be available from March 17.
