Google Maps allows you to share your favorite places

Organizing a trip with friends now, easier than ever

Imagine that some of your friends come from London and you live in Seville.You want to show them as many emblematic sites of your city in the shortest possible time. Then, you want to go and take them to tapas bars with substance, the kind you want to flee from because, precisely, they are usually overcrowded with tourists. And to top it off, a good dinner in a picturesque place. Well, all you have to do is open Google Maps and create three lists

• A list would be the emblematic places: the Giralda, the Torre del Oro, the Plaza de España…
• Another, tapas bars. I'm sure you know a few of them.
• The last one, singular dinners.

Now, how can we create the lists without having a headache? Don't worry, that's what we're for. If you follow our instructions you will not have any possible loss.

How to create lists and share them with your friends

Open the Maps application. It comes pre-installed on any Android phone. If this is not your case, go to the app store and download the latest version Once installed, choose the site you want to choose to launch a list, for example , the emblematic places of your city. We have chosen a park.

Once the park has been chosen, we enter its corresponding file. We see three sections: call, save and website, as can be seen in the photo above. We press save. The app will ask us where we want to include it. There are already three default lists:

• Favorites
• I wanna go
• Featured Sites

At the end of the whole, if we click on the sign »+» of new list, we will create a new one from that place. In this case it was »emblematic sites». If you want, you can call it, for example »Stations».

To access the lists you've made with your favorite places, just go to the main menu of the three bars and choose »Your places». Inside, in the »Saved» tab, you can find all the lists. You will be able to edit, share and delete them. In addition, you can share it with the rest of your friends through social networks, if you want to organize something in a group. The share icon still doesn't appear, but I'm sure it will in the next few days.

This is, without a doubt, a great update and one that makes Google Maps more than just a navigation application.
