Cabify Baby

Cabify, the private taxi application, launches a special service for transporting minors (infants and children). Cabify Baby makes available to users approved seats for children of all ages. And up to three seats can be reserved for the same journey.

From now on, through the Cabify application, you can request a baby seat instantly and for free . To travel with groups or with more than one minor, you can make a reservation for several seats in the app, with a minimum of 6 hours in advance.

What does Cabify Baby consist of?

Cabify Baby is a new service of Cabify specially designed for users traveling with children. The objective is to facilitate transport from one place to another without having to take the seat approved for transport from home.

From the Cabify mobile application, simply activate the option Babyto see the available options. This button is displayed at the bottom left of the map.

Once the category of Cabify Baby has been selected, we only have to specify the place of collection and the place of completion of the journey so that a company vehicle performs the service.

It is important to mention that the service will be available immediately if we only need one chair, but if two or more are needed, it is mandatory to reserve the service in advance .

At the moment, Cabify Baby allows the use of that first seat totally free, without additional cost on top of the rate), but they apply supplements if we order more than one chair or special models.

For the service Cabify Baby the same rates apply as for Cabify Lite : 1, 65 euros per kilometer for journeys up to 20 km, 1.10 euros per kilometer for journeys between 20 and 80 km, and 1.05 euros per kilometer for longer journeysWaiting times are charged as follows: 0.45 euros per minute.

Minimum fares are established as 6 euros for a journey in the center and 10 euros for a journey in suburbs, or 10 euros in the center and 15 in the outskirts if prior reservation is made.

What kind of chairs are available?

The rates indicated above include the possibility of using an approved seat for children of group 1, 2 or 3, at no additional cost and without the need for a reservation .

If you need more than one chair or request a Maxi-Cosi, it is necessary to make one reserve in advance indicating the number of seats needed and the type. The cost is 5 euros for each additional chair.

Reservations must be made at least 6 hours in advance, and only up to 3 seats may be requested for the same journey. Children under 10 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult to be able to use the service.

The Cabify Baby service is available with approved seats for babies and children up to 1.35 meters tall. Special group 0 or group 0 + seats must be placed facing the vehicle in the opposite direction.
