Snapchat is updated with a new search tool
We have a new update of what was once the queen of applications used for teenagers. Snapchat, in its version 10.0 updates with a new improved interface that includes a new way of search. They are subtle changes that come to unify, in a certain way, the application in its different screens, both chat and stories, and that make your user experience much more pleasant.
As always, the Snapchat application is divided into three main screens, that does not change: the chat where you can send those photos that are self-destruct instantly, the integrated camera interface and the stories menu, both to add your own and to see those of our followers and featured stories.
Snapchat, the design is unified
The main changes of version 10.0 of Snapchat, that you can already download, if you don't want to wait for it to jump directly to the Play Store of Google, at this link, are the following:
- Now, the stories screen has the same design as the chat screen: a solid color bar at the top that, in this case, instead of being sky blue, is purple. Thus, the passage between screens is made, visibly, in a much more fluid way than in version 9.0
- To the two search buttons that we could find on both screens at the top, a third is joined on the camera screen. Basically, the top of the app now doesn't change when we scroll from screen to screen.
If we click on any of the search buttons on any of the three screens we will go to a totally renewed screen, in which we can observe the following changes:
- A first quick chat section, made up of small buttons with the thumbnails of our contacts to access them in a much more comfortable, fast and simple way than before.
- A second section in which all our most recent friends appear, in order, in order to have very clear news and to be able to properly greet them.
For a smoother Snapchat
There has always been a sector of users who have complained about the usability of the application on their phones Android: a certain delay and little fluidity when passing between screens. We are already testing this new version of Snapchat 10.0 and we can say that it runs smoother than ever, with smooth animations and no sudden jumps. Undoubtedly, with this new update they have ironed out those certain details that made the application not up to par with its main competitor, Instagram.
Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook: stories to keep you awake
It turns out that Facebook wants to buy Snapchat, but of course not can, you decide to copy it. It's that simple. With Instagram, an application owned by Facebook, neither short nor lazy, they pull out Stories: small video clips that self-destruct. And they got what they wanted: Snapchat was no longer the application most used by young people. How will Snapchat to wrest the throne now held by Instagram? We're afraid she'll have to be with more than just a solid color bar and some interface tweaks.
