One of the most popular social networks of recent times, Instagram, is constantly undergoing changes, accommodating itself to optimize more effectively the flood of users with which it costs and that grow exponentially every day. To monetize users, there is nothing better, of course, than including sponsored content within the application itself. And if we could first see advertising images among the photos of the users we followed, now it's the turn of the Stories of Instagram, which will also have ads.No parcel will be free of the most used social network of photographs in the world.
A movement, this, that has not caught anyone by surprise, taking into account that there are already more than 150 million people those who, every day, share their experiences through this feature of Instagram, created only 5 months ago and so controversial in its day for being practically a copy of what already offered Snapchat. At the moment, this phase is in testing and few companies have made it easier for them to insert ads, only 30 (at the moment Nike, Netflix and AirBnB),a very small number which, for sure, will increase, once this new feature is released, in future updates.
Ads within the Stories of Instagram will be, However, they are not very intrusive and will not upset anyone who is a staunch enemy of advertising content too much: they would go after a considerable number of stories and always between them, they would not cut the Stories of the same user.In addition, we could skip the ads without any difficulty, a very thoughtful detail on the part of Instagram, that continues to ensure, thus, acomfortable navigation and without too many shocks.
Following the business trail of ads in Stories, Instagram will give the possibility to users with a company or business profile , keep track of the Stories of your account, measuring their reach and the impressions and responses obtained by each of them. Instagram has found the Historias with a world of economic possibilities and that, today today, it seems to be exploiting more effectively than Snapchat.
Nothing was the same for Instagram since Facebook decided to buy it, on April 9, five years ago, for the not inconsiderable amount of 1.000 million dollars (some 952 million euros… Almost nothing). Since then, everything has been congratulations for a social network that is used every day by more than billion people worldwide (data from May 2016 ). Although it is true that part of this success is undoubtedly due to the use of characteristics of other similar applications (Snapchat was about to be bought, also, by Facebook… but those, at the last minute, rejected the offer), it is no less true than Instagram knows how to orient its product towards the professional field, as we have just seen with the inclusion of ads in the Stories,a movement that will not please to many but, after all, it is a sign of the times in which we have had to live.
