A WhatsApp scam tells you who your partner is talking to

One of the latest scams that we heard about was related to some succulent discounts in clothing stores: promotional checks supposedly sent by stores known to all as Zara or H&M that invited them to click and, thus, be able to enjoy shopping promotions. And nobody gives hard for pesetas. The scammers perfectly copied the logos of the stores so that we would sting without remedy.
Something similar has happened with this new WhatsApp scam, but with an even more succulent promise than a simple discount or promotion in clothes. Wouldn't you like to see who your partner is talking to on Whatsapp? Our distrust, together with our gossipy soul, it can take its toll on us. And in this case, we may even have deserved the scam. How can we blame someone for wanting to buy a suit at low prices? price? Invading a person's privacy leaves no room for doubt: it is a deplorable act. And this is precisely what we would be doing... If it weren't a scam, of course.
The scam consists of the following: the user receives through another a message in which the following message can be read:
"Now you can see who your friends are talking to on WhatsApp. You can easily discover who each one is online with» this striking message is accompanied by the link of the official page of Whatsapp. Just below, with the emoticon of a finger pointing, the “real” link of the scam was displayed, which, of course, we are not going to reproduce here. Once the user clicks on this link, they are taken to another page where, again, they are invited to find out who your partner is talking to or whoever person you have in your contact list. It goes like this:
«To activate the new function of Whatsapp you must invite at least 10 friends. Follow the instructions."
Next, a screenshot of Whatsapp, properly manipulated, a message that says is shown below the user's name "in line with"It is assumed, of course, that if you are spying on your girlfriend, you would put "Cristina in line with ..." and the name of the supposed person with whom, at this moment I would be sharing a conversation. Of course, we have to repeat that this is an absolute lie.
If you click on the link you will not only be wanting to invade the privacy of a person but you will be sending this same scam to your contacts. The page that is accessed is nothing more than a trap for the user to subscribe to premium services that, in a very short period of time, could leave your checking account at zero.
