Play Music will let you choose the quality of the songs
Although the update has not yet been released to all users, Google has announced the intention to incorporate, during this week, certain improvements to its music on demand service Play Music, some of which would directly affect the download of songs and music quality Nothing new in the user interface , but there are other equally appetizing options.
Possibility to choose the quality of the songs
The other day, after a long time, I decided to use Google Play Music, since I have always been trying other , having one of them as more fixed, but without being faithful to any. I took advantage of a Chromecast offer that gave me 3 months An opportunity like this cannot be missed , TRUE? So, one of the first things I looked at when I went to download a list of songs was to choose the quality that I wanted to do it at. On Spotify, for example, they let you choose if you want it at low, medium or high quality(I don't know if those are exactly the options, but it can serve as a reference). And not only when downloading songs: it also lets you vary the streaming quality: if you go with data, it's much better to put low quality so they don't consume too much, and if you're on WiFi, obviously, you'll be better off choosing extremely high quality.Well, to my surprise, Google Play Music only allowed you to adjust the quality of the songs under the mobile data network, as we can see in the following screenshot.
So this new function comes to cover an inexplicable gap within this, supposedly, advanced music streaming platform. With it, we will be able to download the lists while we are connected to the WiFi at maximum speed and, later, enjoy them on the street, without any economic damage. Let's hope they speed up the upload of the app to Play Store so we can enjoy this long-awaited feature. An added function: Google Play Music will adapt the song to the quality of your connection, being able to choose "always high", although with it, if your connection is weak , playback begins to jerk.
Autoplay function
Honestly, I don't know when this function might be useful, but I'm sure someone will find it.With this service, Google Play Music would start streaming music as soon as you launch the application, without any need to press play. This function can be useful for those people who cannot have much interaction with the screen, for example, because they are in the car. This can already be possible for example by setting some launcher with automatic tasks function (opens Play Musicinserting earphones) or with NFC tags
What do you think of these new Google Play Music options? Are they attractive functions for you? What on-demand music service platforms do you usually use? Long gone are those times when we downloaded music from Napster, Audiogalaxy or Soulseek. There are more and more offers of music streaming and more and more adapted to all budgets.Let it not be said that we do not do things legally!
