In this handy new tutorial, we're going to show you how to share those events you've created on your Google Calendar: invite other people, let them know that you are organizing a meeting, a get-together, a surprise party or that fearsome company dinner that, we all know, is coming up. It is a very simple process with which you can organize everything you can think of and not leave anyone without knowing what you are up to. You will be able to invite, edit, remove guests and much more.We start with this tutorial on how to share Google Calendar events.
Open the application of Google Calendar Right on the main screen, you will see a red »+» icon. Tap it to create a new event. Inside you have three options: objective, reminder and event Obviously, we will press this third option, taking us to the event configuration screen.
Just above everything, where it reads »Write titles, people, places...» is where you will add all the main data of the event: the guests, the title of your party, the place where it will be held. For this occasion, we have invented a meeting for the colleagues of TuExperto that will be held next Thursday, November 14 at the Puente de la Barqueta, in Seville. In the new updates of the Google Calendar the auto-completion function was integrated, both for names and people, in order to make it even easier for you plus event creation.
Later, you can follow all the steps that the event creation page will ask you for in a very simple and clear way: if the event is all day or has a fixed duration, add a new location, for example, a meeting point (this is very useful, for example , during celebrations where there is a large crowd of people), give our invitation card a certain color, add notes and attach the file in Google Drive
When you finish configuring the event, the people you have added as guests will receive an email informing them of the event, being able to respond from it, confirming or not their attendance to it. As soon as they respond, you will receive a notification in order to organize the event in an appropriate way. If at the end of configuring the event you realize that there are people who have left you in the dark, no problem. Click on the event and then on the pencil icon: click on the guest list and you can then add as many people as you want, receiving, like this , the notification that you have organized a great meeting that cannot be missed.
This option to organize events in the Google Calendar will transmit much more seriousness than the same option that gives us, for example , Facebook. It is widely used by working groups since, in addition, you have the possibility of creating, within the same event, a group of hangouts to finalize all those details that will make your event something special. What are you waiting for create the event and share it?
